A man walked into a bar, looking visibly upset. He sat down and immediately began ordering drink after drink, downing each one rapidly.
The bartender, noticing the man’s distress, approached him with a concerned look.
“Is everything okay, pal?” the bartender asked, leaning in slightly.
The man sighed deeply and replied, “My wife and I got into a huge fight. She said she isn’t talking to me for a whole month.”
Trying to lighten the mood, the bartender offered a sympathetic smile and said, “Well, maybe that’s kind of a good thing. You know, a little peace and quiet?”
The man chuckled bitterly and took another sip of his drink. “Yeah, you might be right,” he said. “But today is the last day.”
